The Deception of Devices — led astray down a digital path

For some time now, I’ve been reflecting on the evolving relationship between humankind and our electronic devices—and more personally, my own growing dependence on technology. This reflection came into sharp focus during a recent nature-based healing experience: a two-day solo nature quest in the forest.

What was meant to be a time of stillness, silence, and soulful inquiry began with an unexpected detour—a strong pull towards digital distraction. As I prepared to unplug and return to the natural world, I found myself tangled in the very thing I had come to release.
